Cindy Howard
Director

Cindy Howard is our newly appointed Director for the Sugar Land Art Center & Gallery.  She's an artist, a business woman, and we are happy to have her as part of our team.

Having traveled the world with an Air Force family, many landscapes shaped the creative future for Cindy. She has studied under master artisans from Norway, France, Italy, Asia, and Sugar Land!   She shows in exhibits & galleries multiple times yearly and frequently creates custom commission pieces. She has also served on the board of directors of IDAL:

International Decorative Artisans League.

Since 1998, she has run a professional decorative arts business co-founded by Cindy and her business partner, Dana DeBuck. Their business focus was creating custom, decorative painting and murals for homeowners, designers, corporations, and contractors in the greater Houston area and beyond.  They are ASID Industry Partners and recipients of 2020 and 2021 Top Job Awards by American Painting Contractor magazine.

Cindy is excited about her new role as Director of the Sugar Land Art Center & Gallery. She loves to share her joy of art with painters, from beginner to professional. In this new role, Cindy is the focal point for all daily operations and activities at the Art Center. She is eager to continue the great work we've been doing, and looking forward to finding new ways to grow and improve the Art Center.
